Before retirement Mary Newton was one of the UK's top forensic scientists.
Mary worked on some of the most infamous criminal investigations of modern times including the murders of Lyn & Megan Russell, Stephen Lawrence, Rachel Nickel and the multiple victims of the Muswell Hill butcher; Denis Neilson.
Mary is coming to the Coronation hall, this is a real privilege for us as she only gives this talk on a limited number of occasions each year.
She will talk you through the background as to how these cases were solved, what really went on and some details never before reported in the public domain - be prepared!!
She will dispel all the things you've ever seen on 'Silent Witness'
