A huge 'Thank You' to everyone who contributed to our defibrillator fund. We couldn't have done it without you.

Aslacton & Great Moulton Coronation Hall Defibrillator Fund

The Trustees of the Coronation Hall decided in September 2024 to start a fund with the aim of providing a life-saving defibrillator at the hall, not only for hall users but for everyone in the villages by having it placed outside the building. It was a generous donation of £500 from the Coronation Short Mat Bowls Club (CSMBC) who had regarded the hall as their spiritual home for many years that got the fund kick-started when the club unfortunately closed due to dwindling membership. Other very welcomed contributions followed and the fund started to mount.
Shortly before Christmas 2024 came the absolutely fantastic news that we had been awarded £1000 by Smurfit Westrock from their Volunteers Community Budget after being put forward by our Zumba instructor Lauren Plant who in her day job is Smurfit Westrock's. Engineering Materials Controller. We are more than grateful to both Lauren and to Smurfit Westrock. The even better news that the defibrillator is now installed and is ready for use with 24/7/365 availability. Full Instructions are alongside the unit.
